Due to the efforts of DTVNEL and Chinese Pu Tian company, on August 24th 2010, Jo Khanna Lie, the minister of Cambodia News Department signed the announcement about broadcasting TV station and technology standard regulation of TV station (Cambodian news department No. 499). Jo Khanna Lie announced that their country would adopt DTMB standard in this terrestrial digital multimedia project. On September 15th, Jo Khanna Lie emphasized the above viewpoint again in China-ASEAN meeting.

From October 25th to 28th, due to the invitation of DTVNEL and Chinese Pu Tian company, KAM GUNAWADH, the leader of national TV station in Cambodia went to Laos to investigate the situation of terrestrial digital television construction. KAM also expressed that the TV station of Cambodia would adopt DTMB standard next year to construct other digital television networks and he hoped China could assist them. KAM said that he was willing to promote more countries of ASEAN to choose DTMB standard as their native construction standard of digital television.
